Helps smooth skin details, blemishes and wrinkles. It also produces brightness and a slight reduction in contrast, achieving an "ethereal" image. Density 1 provides more softness than ½, but less than 2. From the subject's perspective, the filter appears to glow, giving models confidence, enhancing better performance by actors.

Hollywood Black Magic
1/4, 1/2, 1, 2

Combining the best attributes of Schneider HD Classic Soft and Black Frost, these filters remove unsightly blemishes and wrinkles while providing an airbrushed texture to the image. A wide range of diffusion can be selected: from slightly softening the contours to removing several years of the age of the person being filmed. By being able to soften highlights, it is possible to control exposure while maintaining rich blacks and colours.
